Chesham Bois House is on the L about � mile north of the village shops in Bois Lane which is an extension of Sycamore Road, the main shopping street of Amersham on the Hill.
Parking is in the road but on Open Days it is usually possible to park on the R (about 150 yards) at Chesham Bois School or the Scout Hall a little further down the hill.
Walk up the drive of mostly lime trees and the white house with blue shutters and its garden are on the L.
Disabled parking is available on Open days in a neighbour's garden (signposted).
From the East:
Follow the A404 from J18 of
the M25 at Chorleywood towards Amersham
for about 4 � miles until a mini roundabout
(signposted Amersham on the Hill). R under
the railway bridge for about 1 mile. At the
2nd mini roundabout turn R to Sycamore
Road (signposted Chesham Bois).
From the South:
Follow the A355 from J2 of
the M40,through the outskirts of Beaconsfield
to Amersham. After about 5 � miles and
down a long steep hill to Old Amersham. At
the bottom, L at the roundabout, R at the 2nd
mini roundabout , by the Moot Hall, up a
steep hill and then straight ahead through the
shopping centre of Amersham on the Hill and
along Sycamore Road.
From the West:
Follow the A413 from Great
Missenden. L at the roundabout after a
brown sign saying Old Amersham. Straight
on and turn L immediately after theMoot Hall
up a steep hill and then straight ahead through
the shopping centre of Amersham on the Hill
and along Sycamore Road.
From the North:
Follow the A416 from
Chesham to Amersham. About 1 � miles
after a sharpish bend and dip in the road, turn
L at North Road (signposted Village Centre).
At the end of North Road, a T junction, turn L
into Bois Lane.
